Building South Bend’s Future Through Music

At The Music Village, we believe the arts are for everyone. Music has the power to transform lives, build confidence, strengthen communities, and inspire lifelong learning.

Every day, we see how access to music education opens doors — for students discovering their voice, for adults rekindling creativity, and for families finding connection through shared experiences. But too many people in our community still face barriers that prevent them from taking part in this life-changing work.

That’s why we created The Future Fund, our annual giving campaign that supports both need-based tuition assistance through Music for All and our new Expansion and Recording Arts initiative.

The Need

In 2025, The Music Village served 27 students through Music for All — providing access to music education regardless of income or background. Yet the demand continues to grow, as more families seek affordable lessons and creative outlets for their children.

At the same time, our current space limits how many students we can serve. We need more room to grow, create, and inspire.

The Vision

With your help, The Music Village is expanding its reach and deepening its impact through our Expansion and Recording Arts Initiative —a 4,000+-square-foot renovation that includes a creative learning space with rehearsal rooms, sound rooms, and recording arts studios.

This new facility will give more than 500 students access to hands-on learning in music, audio engineering, and creative production — skills that foster not only artistry but also teamwork, discipline, and professional readiness.
